Dale S. Porter, D.C.

Dr. Dale S. Porter Porter Chiropractic Health Care

MY PURPOSE:

  • To provide natural health care procedures including Nutrition Response Testing, Neurolink and Quintessential Applications to as many people as I possibly can with the intention of increasing the quality of patients' lives at a reasonable cost; and without the use of drugs.

  • To promote the positive effect of nutrition on health and expose the dangers and overuse of pharmaceutical drugs.

  • To make people aware of the blind-spot in our food supply.

  • To help people become aware of the status of their health before degenerative symptoms occur.

Dr. Dale Stephen Porter is a native Northern New Yorker, born and raised on the southern outskirts of Watertown, the youngest of six children, on his family’s Porterdale Farms atop Dry Hill.  He was an Honors and Regents graduate of South Jefferson Central School and a standout scholar-athlete competing in three sports; football, wrestling, and track.  He was chosen as the first inductee into the South Jefferson Wrestling Hall of Fame and Henry Coffeen Memorial Award.

Dr. Porter went on to make records at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, graduating with Honors and was named to the All-Ivy Team in both wrestling and lightweight football for the Big Red during his time there.  He won the NCAA Division I Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association (E.I.W.A.) Championship at 150 lbs. in 1974 and is among an elite group of athletes inducted into the Cornell University Athletic Hall of Fame and became a member of Cornell's Wrestling Hall of Distinguished Alumni in 2010.
A debilitating back injury actually led him to his career as a chiropractor.  After the discovery and astonishing success of chiropractic when conventional medical approaches did not help alleviate his back pain, he chose to make the profession his own.  A summa cum laude graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, Iowa, Dr. Porter is continuously seeking educational opportunities learning advanced chiropractic techniques and researching the newest treatment methods available.  His quest to bring the most up-to-date health care to his patients is a reflection of the dedication he brings to his profession.

Currently Dr. Porter resides at Clear Lake with his wife Beth.  Married since 1977, they have two grown children:  son, Stephen is an independent insurance agent and lives in LeRoy, NY, with his wife Angela and their four children.  Daughter, Dr. Kelly Erin Porter, a magna cum laude graduate of Parker College of Chiropractic, Dallas, TX, is practicing in partnership at Porter & Rabinowitz Chiropractic www.wakechiro.com , Wake Forest, North Carolina, with her husband Dr. Adam Rabinowitz.

Dr. Porter was a 10-year member and past president of the South Jefferson Central School Board of Education.  He is also a member of the Watertown Masonic Lodge #49, F & AM; and the Watertown Elks #496.  Listed below are extracurricular and post-graduate professional studies he has completed.
